A technical part that became a brand.

MERUS is a ring for the physical treatment of fluids, made in Germany. AERA turned a technical part into a brand: film, image direction and a landing page. Here, the ring's own geometry organises the case.

The pipe diagram was built as a procedural component in the film and rebuilt here: before the ring, particles clustered against the wall; after it, smaller and dispersed.

We started from an aluminium ring and a technical catalogue and arrived at a brand: film, image direction, landing page and a system in which the part itself organises the information.
